A Walking Tour – St. Enda’s National Historic Park -Stone Follies

On 17 April 2015 The Follies Trust friends and guests will be given a guided walking tour of the grounds of The Pearse Museum by Clare Jennings of HHA.  The demesne contains a large collection of eighteenth and nineteenth century stone structures, that create a sense of wonder among children and adults alike in a wooded and riverine setting. The ornamental buildings evoke Druidic and Nordic myths and have associations with Robert Emmet and Patrick Pearse.  To date, HHA has worked on four phases of conservation works to the follies, on behalf of the OPW.
